Service Description
Life Crisis Center serves the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland with a 24/7 crisis line supporting domestic/intimate partner violence, sexual violence, child abuse, human trafficking, behavioral health, and suicide. Services include safe housing, medical and legal accompaniment, individual counseling/trauma-informed therapy, victim support groups, supervised visitation, legal representation for protective orders, a Lower Shore Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program, and a Regional Human Trafficking Navigator Program. Note: does not cover Washington County. Kwema attended a respite strategic planning retreat on 9/28/2026 at Eastern Shore Hospital Center and met them there.
