Free virtual parent workshop series for families with school-aged children in Washington County, based on the evidence-based Botvin LifeSkills parenting program. Practical, hands-on strategies to strengthen family relationships and support a child's success, with interactive discussions, a free workshop book and a participation gift. Series begins Nov. 10, 6 to 7:30 PM. Sessions: Nov 10 Introduction to Botvin; Dec 8 Family Communication; Jan 12 Parental Monitoring; Feb 9 Being a Good Role Model; Mar 9 Consistent & Appropriate Discipline; Apr 13 Substance Use - Effects & Warning Signs; May 11 Taking a Stand on Drugs.
